BINUS ASO School of Engineering

In order to deliver outstanding quality graduates, BINUS UNIVERSITY (Indonesia) together with ASO College Group (Japan) established BINUS-ASO School of Engineering. Three programs with an emphasis on state-of-the-art approach to answering global industrial needs are Product Design Engineering, Business Engineering & Automotive and Robotics Engineering. With interactive Japanese culture environments concept to motivate students to become independent and deep thinkers, the BASE campus facilitates the students with various up-to-date facilities.

Yasa Singgih, a businessman and graduate of BINUS UNIVERSITY, runs a fashion business. He has also received several national and international awards for everything he has done in the business world in Indonesia. Yasa was the first-place winner of the National Mandiri Young Entrepreneur in the Creative Student category in 2015, featured in a real-life documentary about young business leaders by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia in 2015, and was named Marketeers Youth of The Year in 2016 by Mark Plus. Most impressively, Yasa Singgih was listed in Forbes' 30 Under 30 Young Leaders & Entrepreneurs in Asia in 2017.

Billy Setiawan is an alumnus of BINUS UNIVERSITY with a degree in English Literature. He received four scholarships to the USA, UK, China, and Australia. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in applied linguistics at the University of South Australia while also teaching foreign languages at a government school in South Australia. What he learned during his studies can be applied both domestically and internationally. For him, studying English Literature at BINUS UNIVERSITY was not just about learning Shakespeare or English but also about learning organizational skills through the Organizational Behavior course, workplace skills through the Business Correspondence course, and interpersonal skills through the Character Building course.

Edie Kurniawan, a professional graduate from BINUS UNIVERSITY, holds the position of Vice President of Marketing Management at PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk. He majored in MMSI (Master of Management in System Information) at BINUS UNIVERSITY, with a thesis titled "Measuring geospatial information system success on individual performance impact" related to Indihome. This also greatly contributed to his success in his professional career. During his tenure, he received accolades such as The Best Startup & Telco Companies at the Road to CNBC Indonesia Award 2022: The Best Startup & Telco Companies. At the Brand Guardianship Champion 2022, he won the award for The Best Brand Guardian Leader.
